Prior to your procedure

Please follow the following instructions prior to your procedure to ensure we are able to carry out your treatment and obtain the best results possible.

When booking your appointment

Please read over all our information tabs to confirm we will be able to go ahead on the day.

If you have a previous tattoo from another technician please contact us and provide clear photos in good lighting so we can confirm we will be able to tattoo over your existing work.

If you have any of the health issues or are on any of the medications mentioned in our “suitable candidate” section please contact us prior to booking.

If you have a low pain tolerance we advise considering where you will be in your cycle, as you may experience more sensitivity closer to your menstration.

Lastly… Get excited!!!

2 weeks prior to your appointment

Please discontinue using any skin thinning skincare such as retinols or AHA’s

Please do not receive any skin treatments, fillers or botox to the treatment area any closer than 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after your appointment.

Please avoid heavy sun exposure to the face or sun beds.

1 week prior

Please discontinue using any blood thinning medications or supplements such as fish oils, vitamin e, niacin or magnesium.

If you are on prescribed blood thinning medications you will need to consult your doctor and obtain clearance before discontinuing them.

Please avoid any hair removal or tinting to the brows 1 week prior to your appointment. Please note, we love it when you’ve let your brows grow out beforehand. It gives us more options when creating the perfect brow to frame your face.

24 hours prior

No drugs, alcohol, caffeine, asprin or ibuprofen. All of which thin the blood and can cause excessive bleeding which will effect your healed results!

No heavy exercise.

No fake tan in the treatment area.

Things to consider for your appointment

We advise having something to eat beforehand and coming to your appointment well rested and hydrated.

Please plan your day around your treatment not your treatment around your day, Perfection and permanent procedures on your face should not be rushed.

We encourage coming to your appointment with example photos of brows you either do or do not like, photos of how you usually like to wear your makeup/brow makeup, or wearing makeup like you would usually on a day to day basis. We want to work with you to customise your tattoo to your needs and personal preference! Being able to visualise this is the best way to ensure we are on the same page.

If you do decide to wear makeup to your procedure please keep in mind there will be areas removed or rubbed off, we advise wearing foundation that is a close match to your skin colour and bringing it along for touch ups.

Wear something comfy! Earphones are welcome during the actual tattoo process, these are great if you don’t feel like chatting and want to zone out and make the most of some you time, make the procedure go quicker or distract yourself from any nerves.

It is a good idea to wash your hair the night prior and have makeup wipes and cotton tips on hand at home. Trust me, you’ll thank me during the healing process!

If you have any questions or concerns leading up to your appointment please do not hesitate to contact us. We cant wait to see you in the studio and give you your dream brows!!
